A prayer for Mary



Prayer is a force that not only helps bring us closer to God, but also to bring us closer to each other. It is an important part of one's spirituality, and can be found across religious worldwide. The purpose of prayer is to help connect us with those we feel are of spiritual importance to us. Prayer, therefore, is often deeply meaningful and moving. There are a great deal of prayers across different religions that speak to these spiritual loved ones. One individual who has a large number of important prayers devoted to her is the Virgin Mary, the holy mother of Jesus. There are a number of well-known prayers dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Perhaps the most famous of these is the Hail Mary, which is also known as the Ave Maria. It is a traditional Catholic prayer that prays to Mary, the mother of Jesus. It is used as the basis for the Catholic Rosary, where ten Hail Marys are spoken for every Our Father prayer.
